Leia has worked with one of the world’s largest gold mining companies for three years helping to make change management “good management”. Leia has a variety of capabilities in supporting companies align strategy, culture, and values, implementing new operating and engagement models, and executing mergers, acquisitions, and integrations.
While Leia was planning her wedding (years ago), she was working on a project that sent her to the middle east for 10 weeks. Leia lived in Dubai and Kuwait and visited Guantanamo Bay twice for this same project. For another client and an entirely different project Leia traveled to Bali Indonesia and got to visit a sea turtle hatchery. She even released some into the ocean.
She’s Not All Business
Leia has two kids, Connor and Kate. In the words of Leia, “My kids are my everything. I love being a role model for them and showing them the value of hard work. I’m a full-time working mom and still have time to help them with their homework, class projects, teach them how to live a healthy and active life, and more.”
Where She’ll Surprise you
Leia is a very active person. She has run three marathons (Chicago twice and New York once), has competed in numerous triathlons – with one being the world’s highest triathlon at 830 ft above sea level. She has also biked across the Rockies, completing 90 miles and 10,000 feet of climbing in a single day.
Sometimes Leia uses her change management tricks on her family to get them to stop leaving their shoes around the house.
