What She Brings to the Table

Ali enjoys learning about how people learn and incorporating fun into learning whenever possible. She received a BS in Psychology from Dayton and worked with kids for a few years before returning to school for an MA in I/O Psychology with a specialty in adult learning theory.

An Unlikely Path

Before becoming a Learning Consultant at TiER1 Performance, Ali’s career was primarily focused on working with kids. The summer after graduating college, she worked as a counselor at a teen leadership and adventure camp, where she got to take a group of teens hiking on the Appalachian Trail. After thatshe taught preschool for a year, worked at a clinic for children on the autism spectrum practicing applied behavioral analysis, and then returned to the summer camp in a full-time, year-round role as the program manager of the youth leadership program. It was in these roles that Ali discovered her passion for helping others unlock their potential though teaching and training.

Her Potential Fully Realized

Ali taught herself to knit and tends to do that a lot during her free time in the winter, while most of her warmweather free time is spent outside hiking, camping, or somewhere near a lake – ideally all three of the above.

Her All-Time Favorite

Even though she lives in Indianapolis, Ali is a huge Boston sports fan. Her parents are both from the New England area, so she was born into it; she spends most Sundays in the fall at her parents’ house watching football with family.
