What She’s Passionate About

Allison is passionate about addressing challenges by maximizing team members’ individual and collective skills. She is also a passionate advocate for a well-made and aesthetically pleasing PowerPoint presentation.

Her Professional Experience

Allison earned a B.B.A. in Business Management and a B.A. in French from Southern Methodist University in 2011. Uncertain of what she wanted to do after completing her undergraduate studies, she moved up to Cleveland, Ohio and worked on the Bishop’s staff for the Episcopal Diocese of Ohio as the Project & Campaign Administrator for the Camp and Retreat Ministry. She completed her M.Ed. in Leadership & Organizational Performance from Vanderbilt University in 2018, where she built on her quantitative foundation in business and learned how to intersect it with human behavior and psychology. Her education and experience have reinforced her commitment to creating meaningful and creative solutions.

An Unlikely Path

Allison is a completely self-taught graphic designer. She has made many invitations, logos, and signs for friends and families.

Her All-Time Favorite Quote

“Perhaps the seeds of redemption lay not just in perseverance, hard work, and rugged individualism. Perhaps they lay in something more fundamental—the simple notion of everyone pitching in and pulling together.” – The Boys in the Boat: Nine Americans and Their Epic Quest for Gold at the 1936 Berlin Olympics by Daniel James

Fun Fact

When Allison was in 7th grade, she entered the “word of the day” a couple of times through Radio Disney and ended up winning a cruise for her and her family! (And to this day, her dad still says it’s the best trip he’s ever been on because he didn’t have to plan a thing!)

Allison has lived in five different states: California (born and raised!), Texas, Ohio, Tennessee, and now Kentucky!
