What She’s Passionate About

Making connections. Whether it’s between ideas, processes, or people, Elise is always looking for ways to create aha moments. (Matchmaking isn’t a professed skill, but she could technically add it to her resume if you ask two different married couples/dear friends…).

Communicating is her tool of choice to help connect dots: first by listening, then by finding ways to simplify the complex, make timely introductions, spark dialogue, and provoke a new way of thinking. Elise never wants to stop learning, seeing the world, or finding new ways to efficiently and effectively solve problems, while helping others along the way.

Her Professional Experience

Elise’s path to TiER1 is made up of mostly marketing and communications experience, including stops in broadcast journalism as a morning news producer, boutique PR & communication agencies, B2B marketing, and corporate communications leadership roles in financial services. She also made a stop in strategic planning and programs and led all marketing/communications for a two-year merger integration.

How She Makes a Difference

Elise and her husband are proud residents of Norwood, a little city within the city of Cincinnati. Together, with a handful of other residents, they planned and hosted a 5K run/walk with the purpose of building community and giving back. The inaugural Gem of the Highlands 5K was met with much enthusiasm and exceeded participant and fundraising goals, creating the opportunity to make a meaningful donation to the city’s parks and turn their efforts into an annual tradition!

She’s Not All Business

One of Elise’s all-time favorite things is March Madness! She blames her four older brothers during her formative years AND her previous employer who made the first Friday of the NCAA tournament an official company holiday. She also loves traveling, a good glass of red wine, and enjoying these things with friends and family, and her dog Harvey, when possible.
