What She’s Passionate About
Creating practical solutions to complex organizational issues. Jenn loves to take lots of information, complex strategies, and hairy problems, and synthesize them into an actionable plan that can make real difference in an organization.
Her Professional Experience
Jenn learned the theory behind organizational change and what makes people tick while getting her master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology. At TiER1, she’s tried her hand at many different areas of change: change management communications, gamification, change impact analysis, organizational readiness analysis, and organizational effectiveness. Jenn loves owning a stream of work where she can create the strategy and execute the plan. One of her favorite recent projects was helping a company craft a year-long strategy for a change network. Jenn built team-building exercises that were educational and creative to help a group of stakeholders become change champions.
How She’ll Surprise You
In 2016, Jenn took an extended trip around the world with her husband, spending two months in South America, two months road-tripping to U.S. national parks, two months in South East Asia, a few weeks in Europe, and a few weeks in her husband’s home of Guatemala. It was a life-changing experience that transformed both her perspective on the world and how she interacts with it.
Her Favorite Place in the World.
Guatemala. Jenn and her husband visit several times a year; her husband was born and raised there. She thinks it is one of the world’s best kept secrets. The people are amazingly friendly and welcoming. The country is breathtaking and filled with beautiful volcanoes, lakes, mountains, beaches (both black and white sand), and some of the world’s biggest Mayan ruins.
Can’t live without salty snacks. (The usual suspects? Chex Mix and popcorn.)
Travel is her #1 hobby.
