Kendell enjoys cultivating long-term relationships with clients and colleagues. She especially enjoys brainstorming with clients to discover how a blend of creativity and technology can solve problems and activate strategy.
Her Professional Experience
Kendell has served in various roles during her career in the learning space, including multimedia developer, videographer, and engagement and project manager. She is passionate about building relationships and consulting with clients, which ultimately led her to a focus on client development. She has a BA in Liberal Arts from DePauw University and an MBA in Organizational Leadership.
Her Favorite Quote
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.”
This Winston Churchill quote reminds Kendell to stay open to change. She believes that we must always strive to do better, but not beat ourselves up too much when we stumble … always forward!
Outside of work, Kendell enjoys tackling home improvement projects with her mom to bring their tri-level home out of the 1970s. She also enjoys leading her son’s cub scout den, and cheering (probably much too loudly) as he hits the stage in a musical or with his competitive dance crew.
An Unlikely Path
One of Kendell’s first jobs was lights, sound, and stage management for her university’s performance auditorium. She loves theater and film and secretly wishes she still had the time and skill to participate in a community theater production or two.
If Kendell had to pick just one food to eat for one year, it would be mac and cheese … provided, of course, that she would also receive ‘calorie immunity’ along with it.
