Patient safety. Lena loves to coach healthcare leaders and inspire positive change that improves patient outcomes.

Her Professional Experience

Lena began her nursing career in neonatal intensive care nursing. She has experience in labor and delivery, quality and patient safety, infection prevention and control, medical staff peer review, and accreditation and regulatory compliance. Lena also is a certified specialist in healthcare accreditation, a certified neonatal intensive care nurse, and a pediatric advanced life support instructor. She holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration and a bachelor’s in nursing and business management.

Her Potential Realized

For Lena, the quote “It’s impossible until it’s done” is an inspiring challenge. She says it’s a true breakthrough when you see a project through and have a successful outcome. Although at times consultants face challenges, Lena finds it so rewarding to have a voice and see changes that directly improve patient safety and patient outcomes. She loves being a part of a team that drives results and makes the impossible come true.

Where the Heart Is

Lena loves her family and says her best accomplishment is her son, Hayden. “He is kind hearted, smart, funny, incredibly handsome, and loves baseball.” They have two pets: an English mastiff, Gus, and a German shepherd, Gracey. Home is Lena’s favorite place, although she also loves to travel and spend time relaxing on a beach.
