What She’s Passionate About

Sharon loves people, technology that connects, games that teach, designing memorable experiences, and creating spaces and environments where all feel welcome.

Her Roots

Sharon comes to TiER1 Performance via Bottom-Line Performance, a learning solutions company she founded in 1995. She and Kirk Boller, her husband and business partner, grew the company into a $4M+ business before BLP was acquired by TiER1 in 2019. Sharon started BLP because she had a huge passion for learning and a desire to design solutions that help companies maximize people and profits, and she has brought those talents with her to TiER1! She’s built significant expertise in the arenas of learning game design, design thinking for solving performance challenges, leadership development, and strategy development.

She’s Not All Business

Sharon loves any activity that is outdoors and active, including biking, hiking, and gardening. She’s a past adventure race competitor and marathoner with a deep dislike of sitting still. She also can’t live without a morning cup of tea (Scottish black) and something good to read.

Her Favorite Quote

“We can’t all do great things, but we can all do small things in a great way.”
Sharon loves this quote, which is often attributed to Martin Luther King Jr., because it reminds her that we all have the power to make positive change.

Fun Facts

If Sharon were on a desert island (with WiFi, of course!) and could only have three things, they would be: an iPad (so she could connect to news blogs, games, and the Kindle reading app); her husband; and a micro brew.
