What He’s Passionate About

Steve loves to help others, bring new ideas to life, and form authentic relationships while doing so.

His Street Cred

Steve started his career building a marketing function from the ground up. He came to TiER1 by way of Bottom-Line Performance, which was acquired by TiER1 in 2019. At BLP, Steve gained a broader business perspective as a member of the senior leadership team, as well as experience as a product manager for a learning technology platform. Steve serves on the editorial board for the Life Science Trainer and Educators Network (LTEN)’s Focus on Training Magazine. His articles have appeared in print for LTEN’s Focus on Training magazine and ATD’s TD Magazine and he is a frequent presenter at industry conferences.

Where He Shines

Steve is at his best when he’s bringing a new idea or venture from inception to completion. Whether it’s starting a small business, launching a product, creating an L&D conference, or releasing an album of original music, Steve knows how to get initiatives off the ground. He uses his entrepreneurial spirit and strategic mindset to bring his clients’ goals to life.

How He Makes a Difference

Steve is a proud supporter of environmental non-profits and organizations that promote sustainability and climate advocacy, such as Sierra Club, Hoosier Environmental Council, and the Environmental Defense Fund.

An Unlikely Path

Steve was a music major in college. He writes and performs original songs; you can even find him on your favorite music streaming service!

Family Matters

Steve and his wife spend a lot of time keeping up with their two retired racing greyhounds. Most of the time, they’re couch potatoes … but they do enjoy lots of walks!
