TiER1 Performance Expands Leadership Team to Support Planned Growth

Katie Frey assumes newly added Chief Operating Officer role.

Following significant growth in 2021, TiER1 Performance adds a Chief Operating Officer role to the leadership team, naming Katie Frey as the organization’s COO. The employee-owned strategy activation firm, which will be celebrating its twentieth anniversary in September, has grown to over 280 full-time consultants nationwide.  

Katie Frey joined the company in 2013 as a consultant serving Fortune 500 clients. Her areas of expertise include mergers and acquisitions, change, and strategic growth. She has been instrumental in helping TiER1 scale its offerings and has played leadership roles in strategy formation, solution design, organization development, enterprise account growth and client development.

TiER1 Performance continues to expand their strategy activation consulting offerings to help organizations bridge the gap between strategy and the execution needed to bring it to life. The organization expects organic growth of over 25% in 2022 and anticipates building on its history of successful acquisitions. 

The addition of new leadership roles follows internal structural changes—which the firm made last year—to add studios that support increased demand for Microsoft 365 solutions, enterprise platform solutions supporting talent development and performance; as well as expanded capabilities around Transformation, Healthy, High Performing Cultures and Employee Experience Design.
