What to expect when you submit

Let’s be honest, any web HR application process is no fun. Yet, we have found that it’s the best option for learning about you. We get a lot of submissions, and we have a small staff, which makes it hard for us to respond to submissions in the personal way we would want to. (And that makes us feel bad, because we love getting to know new people!)

So, when you submit your application, you will get the form letter response. That lets you know that we’ve received it; we promise that someone on our team will review it as soon as possible and say hello.

Some tips for success

Here are some tips we know will benefit you at TIER1 (or anywhere else you are interested in).

First, if you know someone at TiER1, make sure you send your resume to them and let them know you’re interested in applying. They might not be in charge of hiring, but they can provide our team with their personal insights into the potential of TiER1 plus you. They can also give you some better perspective on how we work and how you might fit.

If you don’t know anyone at TiER1, reach out on LinkedIn to someone. (Better yet, reach out to a few people.) Connect and explore. Talk to them about their experiences at TiER1. Ask about the work itself. Share why you think TiER1 might be for you. You’ll learn a bit more and likely make another good connection in your network along the way.
