SOCIAL IMPACT PROJECT GRANTS:

HELPING OUR communities REACH THEIR HIGHEST POTENTIAL

Apply for a Social Impact Project Grant

At TiER1 Performance, service is core to our mission of improving organizations through the performance of people to build a better world. Our communities are a key stakeholder for us—making a positive impact on them has been a part of our goal from the day we were founded. Over the years, this impact has occurred through employee service time off, group volunteer projects, an extensive commitment to mental health, community fundraising events like  The Scurry, and monetary contributions to many causes throughout our regions.

Through all of this, we’ve found that one of the most significant impacts we can make is through the contribution of our talents. That’s why we’re committed to increasing the number of social impact projects we undertake each year.

What is a Social Impact Project?

Social impact projects bring the vast array of TiER1’s talents and skills to social service, non–profit organizations in the regions in which we work. Projects best suited for our services are those that allow these organizations—or the people they serve—to fully realize their potential and do their best work. This could look like a volunteer engagement strategy, a workforce training solution, or change and communication strategies and deliverables. The options are vast.

Typically, a social impact project will require under 500 hours of work to reach impactful deliverables. To subsidize these projects, TiER1 offers application–based grants to match funds provided from the organization toward the project.

Who qualifies?

Any social service non–profit that serves the communities and regions in which TiER1 operates is eligible to apply for the grant. Those regions are as follows:

  • Cincinnati, OH/Northern Kentucky
  • Atlanta, GA
  • Chicago, IL
  • Columbus, OH
  • Denver, CO
  • Indianapolis, IN
  • Pittsburgh, PA
  • Washington, D.C.

In some cases, we will consider applications from other regions in which we are working. Priority consideration is given to applications aligned with mental health, education, and/or opportunity development for people and populations in need.

How does it work?

The first step is to get approved for a grant amount. Once approved, you will work with a TiER1 consultant to scope out your project and estimate the total cost for completion. Our grant will match up to 50% of the project cost with a maximum of $25,000. It is deemed a match of funds as we require the client to contribute to the project cost as well.
