TiER1 Acquires Compass Clinical Consulting
TiER1 Performance Solutions has acquired Compass Clinical Consulting, an established healthcare consulting services firm that provides clinical and operations performance improvement; accreditation and regulatory compliance; and interim healthcare leadership. Compass will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of TiER1.
“The acquisition of Compass creates a unique opportunity for TiER1,” shares Greg Harmeyer, TiER1’s CEO. “Compass has a long history of improving the performance of healthcare organizations; TiER1 has deep expertise in improving the performance of people in any industry, including healthcare. Together, we strengthen our ability to develop people-centric solutions that improve healthcare delivery across the nation.”
Peter and Kate Fenner founded Compass in 1979. Under their leadership, they grew the organization to support over 50 hospitals and healthcare systems throughout the U.S. Mark Reifsteck, who joined Compass in 2016, will continue to lead the organization as President and Managing Director.
“We initially felt a strong alignment with TiER1’s values and culture,” shares Mark. “In addition, having the ability to leverage TiER1’s deep expertise in change and culture strategy creates a very exciting future for what we can bring to our health care clients.”
Kate Fenner will remain with the company in a senior advisory role. The day-to-day operations of Compass will continue to operate as usual—providing the high level of services that clients can depend on. Compass’ Cincinnati office has relocated to TiER1’s headquarters to 100 E. RiverCenter Blvd, Covington, KY.
We see this as an opportunity to leverage our respective people, expertise, and systems to create even greater value for our clients and consultants alike. Both companies expect significant growth this year and beyond as our combined capabilities strengthen each organization’s opportunities. Click here to learn more about Compass Clinical.
