What He’s Passionate About
Unlocking the potential in people, teams, and ideas.
Professional Experience
Before co-founding TiER1 in 2002, Greg spent several years managing large global information technology initiatives for Accenture in the US and in Europe. After Accenture, he was an early leader in a startup consultancy called AFKelly. As a co-founder of TiER1, Greg carried over everything he had learned from both firms about consulting, entrepreneurship, people, and culture in helping create the foundation of TiER1.
In addition to his consulting experience, Greg received an MBA with distinction in finance and strategy from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and a bachelor’s degree (summa cum laude) in management information systems and economics from the University of Dayton. He is a member of the Board of Directors for both the American Red Cross (Cincinnati Area chapter) and the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber and has served in similar roles for the Northern Kentucky University College of Informatics, Elder High School, and Mother Teresa Catholic Elementary School.
Making an Impact
Greg’s vision for TiER1 is to have an impact on people, regardless of who they are—employees, clients, vendors, the community, or the person on the street that comes by. “Work has a significant impact on people’s personal lives, their families, and their overall well-being. To truly make a company great, business has to be more than merely transactional,” shares Greg. “We’re motivated to create an environment that maximizes the talents and potential of people both for our clients and within TiER1.”
He’s Not All Business
While he’ll admit business is his favorite hobby, Greg also spends his free time running, boating, coaching his kids’ basketball teams, and being a dad. A born-and-raised Cincinnatian, Greg loves Elder football, the Reds, and time with his wife and four kids (not necessarily in that order).
