What She’s Passionate About
Loves using design thinking to figure out the best solution for unique learners. When Kristen isn’t analyzing audiences or objectives, she’s figuring out new ways to include elements of games in the learning solutions she designs. It’s not enough for training to work – she wants it to be fun, too!
Her Professional Experience
Kristen holds a bachelor’s degree from Franklin College in journalism and political science and a master’s in education from Indiana University with a specialty in instructional systems technology. She is also a 2016 Training Magazine Emerging Leader to Watch.
An Unlikely Path
Kristen spent a summer managing digital communications for the Indiana State Museum, back in the early days of email marketing. She wrote several dozen e-newsletters on museum exhibits and managed the website as part of a small communications team. Anyone who knows Kristen knows she has a strange ability to break all technology, so there’s more than a little humor in reflecting on a time when Kristen led digital marketing.
